Transparent Container Expands with California Facility

On October 1, 2007, TCC packaging began rolling off the line at our newest facility. Located in Ontario, California, this 40,000 square foot building was acquired in Spring of 2007, and we made significant investments in the facility over the summer to make it ready for production.

Initially Ontario offered only basic thermoforming, but we will be expanding our capabilities to include contract packaging, sourcing and fulfillment in Spring/Summer of 2008. The facility offers three thermoforming lines capable of manufacturing PVC, PET and HIPS from .010 to .062 gauge, and PE and PP materials up to .090. Maximum forming capability is 30” x 40” x 4”. We will be adding Heat Seal and RF Sealing capabilities in Spring/Summer of 2008, and ISO Certification is scheduled at that time.

The Ontario operation also involves a considerable investment in human resources. We have assembled a seasoned team of packaging experts to serve our California customers. All together, the Ontario team offers over 90 years of packaging industry experience.

As TCC has grown over the years, we are acquiring more and more customers in the western states. This new facility was created to better serve those customers by speeding order fulfillment and lowering transportation costs from our production lines to theirs.
