Playtex was excited to introduce a dramatically different pacifier. This unique orthodontic pacifier was specially designed by dentists to not only soothe your baby, but also allow for the natural development of your baby's teeth. They needed a package that would feature all of the benefits of the new Ortho Pro pacifier and allow the consumer a full 360º view of the product. Additionally, the package needed to reflect the upscale nature of the product and meet all of the company’s marketing initiatives.

With a clear understanding of the design requirements and marketing objectives, the team at Transparent Container was able to supply a design that met all of the objectives head on. A direct link from the client to the design and engineering teams at two separate Transparent Container facilities ensured that no details were lost in translation and the design was everything that Playtex hoped for.

The tooling and manufacturing teams in both locations understood the tight manufacturing specifications of this product and maintained strict quality procedures and detailed communications during the entire production cycle to ensure the highest quality.

The final solution was a clear folding carton with a thermoformed suspension insert. This package adds tremendous shelf impact with its three dimensional graphics and also helps present the pacifiers perfectly for the consumer.
