Harper College in Palatine, IL along with area manufacturers and high schools joined forces to develop practical skills and educational programming in advanced manufacturing.  They designed a Manufacturing Internship Program that would help address the skill shortage in the advanced manufacturing sector.  This program prepares students for the nationally recognized certification by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC).  Transparent Container is currently participating in the program.  We feel that this is a great opportunity to obtain a pipeline of qualified candidates to fill open positions.
